Healthy Heart Exercise Program
Have you had a heart attack, bypass or open heart surgery? Do you have high blood pressure or high cholesterol? Are you at high risk for developing heart disease? Do you have a family history of heart disease? If you have any of the above, then this program is for you.
Our Healthy Heart Program is designed to provide support and education to help the participant transition into a healthier lifestyle. This medically supervised 8-week program focuses on three components: cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, and education/behavior modification. Close supervision and instruction are given by are trained staff consisting of an exercise physiologist, clinical integration director and medical director.
Full of Life Arthritis Exercise Program
HealthPoint has teamed up with the Arthritis Foundation to offer an array of programs for individuals who suffer from arthritis. Those who suffer from fibromyalgia, polymyalgia, chronic pain and fatigue or for those who find land exercise too difficult will benefit by enrolling in this program.
HealthPoint offers two programs:
The Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program (AFAP) is a water exercise program performed in our warm water therapy pool (92 degrees). The buoyancy and warmth of the water provide relief of strain on the muscles and joints during exercise.
People with Arthritis Can Exercise (PACE) is a land based exercise program using gentle activities to help increase range of motion, flexibility and maintain muscle strength.

Women on Weights (W.O.W.)
The newest strength training program designed only for women
W.O.W. is the first program of its kind to be offered in the Boston area! HealthPoint wants you to be the first to participate. W.O.W. is a new and exciting program designed especially for women just like you. Through W.O.W. you will learn; proper lifting techniques, exercise program development and design. Through these proven training techniques, you will get results. Program kicks off with a FREE 2 hour lecture and workshop.
Appetite for Success
This program is a complete fitness package, which includes two personal training sessions and one nutrition consultation per week for four weeks. “Appetite for Success” has been specially designed to incorporate muscle conditioning, cardiovascular training and nutrition, the three crucial ingredients of a complete fitness package.
Full of Life
60+ come join HealthPoint for mornings full of fun and exercise. Each week day at HealthPoint there will be a group exercise program in either the water, one of our 3 group exercise studios or the exercise floor. Each month the focus will be on a age-related topic. Our talented and experienced staff will lead you through a safe, fun and effective exercise program that will make you look and feel ‘Full of Life’!
